Dr. John Kehoe, Ph.D., is the President and CEO of the Foundation. Dr. Kehoe is an internationally known speaker and consultant. John Kehoe completed a doctoral degree in Public Policy from Golden Gate University. He has served in the 1960's as an Assistant City Manager in Hayward, California, Chief of Staff to the Chairman of the House Space Committee, founder of the California State University system in Washington, D. C., Executive Director of the California Commission on Aging, and currently Chairman of the California Rehabilitation Appeals Board. John has been a consultant to Ju Jin Tao the President of China, the European Union, and the Senator John McCain for President Committee, CSAAA Advisory Board, Golden Gate University, Community Advisory Committee, Center for Youth Citizenship (Past President and Director), American Society for Public Administration (Past President), California Senior Citizen Action Network (Policy Council Chairman), and the California State Senior Coalition.

Hazel Maudens Henry is the Vice-President and the widow of Leonard Maudens, the Foundation’s founder. Having retired from the residential care industry, she is a tireless advocate for promoting excellence in senior care through her fundraising and educational advocacy. Austin Coorper, Esq., Attorney at Law, is the Secretary and original incorporator of the Foundation. He is a nationally acclaimed asset protection and business operations attorney and speaker. A graduate of Yale University, and the University of Virginia, Mr. Cooper has over 50 years of celebrated and decorated legal experience. His specialized Areas of Practice include: Business Organizations & Asset Protection, Debtor/Creditor, and Real Estate Law. He donates hundreds of hours annually to numerous causes including his service as President, Sacramento County Board of Public Law Library Trustees, and Secretary to the Board, Maudens Foundation for Recognition of Achievements in Eldercare.

Cindy Steed is the Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer. She brings many years of experience in for-profit and non-profit bookkeeping experience. She is also the Founder of Learn2Soar, a multi-service firm helping motivated people realize the American dream and thrive as business owners. She and her team provide a full range of services from selecting the optimal business structure to marketing and best practices in financial and personnel record-keeping. Her expertise is much sought after as finance and accounting consultant, including clients in the assisted living and residential care industry.

Bill Clawson, RN, PhD, CLNC, serves as a Director since 2007. He is a professional educator, lecturer, author and consultant since 1983. Upon retiring as a senior, decorated Naval Officer in 1994, he founded and serves as president of Wm Clawson Enterprises, Inc. – Quest for Excellence™, an all-volunteer, non-profit educational organizations. Actively practicing in health care for over 30 years, Bill has an extensive clinical background as a registered nurse practitioner in critical care and elder care, an administrative background in medical staff development and health care administration, and a certified legal nurse consultant, specializing in health care administration and assisted living. Bill has served as an educator-consultant to numerous agencies including the California Department of Social Services, the Department of the Navy, Stanford University School of Medicine, the California State Advisory Committee on Residential Care Administrator Certification, and the Humboldt County Long Term Care Committee, Dementia Care Coalition.
